New Parent Coaching
Meet with a postpartum doula via video chat to ask questions and receive guidance as you need it. Virtual consultations are great for families needing just a little guidance, as an add-on for families utilizing in-home doula care, or for those who are outside of our usual service area.
The fee is $30 for a 20-30 minute call or $225 for 8 weekly calls.
Working with a postpartum doula in your home give you access to a wide range of services and support. She will care for you in the way that you most at that moment. A doula's work will evolve with the needs of the family. Additionally, the doula "mothers the new mother" at a time when the focus is usually on the baby.
Trained, compassionate care may include:
— Assistance with physical recovery after birth
— Exploring and processing the emotional changes of a new parent
— Education about newborn care such as swaddling, bathing, and soothing
— Infant feeding support including breast and bottle feeding, pumping, and more
— Nutritional information, meal preparation, and planning
— Help around the house and sibling care
The fee is $40-$50/hour and is scheduled for a minimum of 3-hour blocks.
