Customized Prenatal Preparation

Having trouble finding a newborn prep or infant feeding class that covers exactly what you are looking for? We can create a customized planning session in the comfort of your own home - either in person or via Zoom. Topics could include breastfeeding, newborn care, parent self-care, nutrition, building your support network, and more as requested. We’ll work with you to help you feel confident and prepared to welcome your little one into your home

The fee is $175 for a 2-hour session.

Virtual Doula Visits

Meet with a postpartum doula via Zoom to ask questions and receive guidance as you need it. Virtual consultations are great for families who simply have questions or would like professional guidance before or after the baby comes. Use this time to ask about feeding, soothing, baby care, or your own care and recovery. Amanda can share resources, tips, and strategies that you can use immediately.

The fee is $45 for a 30-40 minute video call with a follow-up email.

In-Home Postpartum Doula Care

Working with a postpartum doula in your home gives you access to a wide range of services and support. She will care for you in the way that you most at that moment. A doula's work will evolve with the needs of the family. Additionally, the doula "mothers the new mother" at a time when the focus is usually on the baby.

Trained, compassionate care may include:

— Assistance with physical recovery after birth

— Exploring and processing the emotional changes of a new parent

— Education about newborn care such as swaddling, bathing, and soothing

— Infant feeding support including breast and bottle feeding, pumping, and more

NOTE: In-home doula care is very limited at this time. If you are looking for in-home support, please contact Amanda and see what options are available. If she is not able to help she will provide a referral list of trusted providers.

Availability is limited.
